Product Details

Part Number: CB-U-2PV
Brand: Chase Bays
Color: Black

The Chase Bays 2-Way Brake Bias Valve (Part Number: CB-U-2PV) is an essential component designed for automotive enthusiasts and professional racers seeking precise brake balance adjustments. Crafted by Chase Bays, this high-performance valve allows for independent regulation of front and rear brake pressure, enhancing vehicle handling and safety during spirited driving or competitive racing. Its durable construction ensures reliable operation under demanding conditions, providing drivers with the confidence to fine-tune their braking system for optimal performance.

This two-way brake bias valve features a compact design suitable for installation in tight engine bays or chassis configurations. The valve's ergonomic design facilitates quick adjustments without the need for extensive disassembly, allowing for real-time brake balance tuning on the track or street. Easy integration with existing brake systems makes it an excellent upgrade for custom builds or performance-focused vehicles.

Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, the Chase Bays 2-Way Brake Bias Valve guarantees longevity and consistent performance over time. Whether you're looking to improve your vehicle's braking response or achieve a more balanced brake feel, this valve provides precision control that can be tailored to your specific driving style. It is a reliable choice for those committed to enhancing their vehicle's braking dynamics while maintaining ease of use and durability.

Features:

  • Dual-flow design for independent front and rear brake pressure control
  • Compact and lightweight construction for easy installation
  • Durable, corrosion-resistant materials for long-lasting performance
  • Ergonomic adjustment knob for quick and precise brake bias tuning
  • Compatible with a wide range of automotive brake systems
Dialing In the Proportioning Valve

  • With the knob threaded all the way in/down, it gives 90% of the total braking pressure to the rear. (10% reduction)
  • With the knob threaded all the way out/up, it gives 40% of the total braking pressure to the rear, aka LESS TO REAR. (60% reduction)
These adjustments allow you to fine-tune the front-to-rear braking balance by proportionately decreasing the rear (or in some cases the front) brake line pressure. If the range of adjustment in the valve is not sufficient to properly balance the vehicle’s bias, changes to other components within the system may be necessary. This product, in most cases, requires custom brake lines.

There isn't a specific setting per car; different front and rear weights for each setup change everything in terms of braking balance. We recommend starting with the knob turned all the way out/up, which gives the least amount of pressure to the rear. Then turn the knob all the way in/down. This will give you both extremes and will give better insight into which direction you need to go.

Due to the manufacturer's price control policy, this item may be excluded from promotions and discounts
