It's absolutely what's needed to this job right the first time. After using the dumb strap wrench for so long and wondering if it's slipping, this was a great addition to the maintenance tools. Highly recommend trying it out, and ClubRSX has a good deal on it.

I've spent way too much on crappy quality sockets and then I finally decided to buy the right tool, and clubrsx had it at an unbeatable price with free shipping. Sine most Honda's use the same oil filter, this will work on my wife's civic, and probably her figure purchase of a pilot. Genuine Honda parts are the only way to go.

Hello: I especially like the extra clearance and precision fit this wrench offers. It's deep enough to grip the filter but not so deep it gets hung up on surrounding components. It can be used with either a 3/8" drive ratchet or a 17 mm combination wrench. Well worth the price.
