Acura RSX Lower Control Arm Installation
Tools Required
- Floor jack
- Jack stands
- 1/2" ratchet
- 17mm socket
Step One
Jack up the rear of the car and put it on jack stands. Then put the jack under the rear control arm to support it. Using the 17mm socket remove the bolt on the chassis. Then using the supplied 10 point socket remove the bolts on the control arm.

Using the supplied steel mounting plate and 10-point bolts, install the bolts into the stock control arm but do no tighten them down yet.
Step Three
Install the stock bolt back into the chassis and tighten it down to 43ft-lbs. You will find that you will have to move the wheel around to get it to line up. You can also use the bolt to help line it up as well, that is why it it has the end that it has on it.
Now tighten down the three 10-point bolts to 95ft-lbs.
Step Four
Repeat the steps for the opposite side.
