i bought the filter took out the stock air box and attached the filter to the stock tube. Had a short ram for $45 bucks and it works great.

Right when I opened the box, I was startled by how light and flexible this filter is! I just installed this product on my aftermarket intake system to replace the old filter that had a hole in it and had become rusty. I am thoroughly impressed with the immediate increase in fuel economy and performance! It is significantly quieter than my previous heavier metal mesh filter and in my opinion much more stylish.
