Description

The K-Tuned K-Series A/C & P/S Eliminator Kit has been one of our best sellers for several years now. 

  • We are now releasing our 3rd revision of this pulley kit and again we have made a few changes to make our product even better.
  • We always wanted to make our kit completely universal and have it setup to work with a 7-rib belt, just like oem. 
  • If you have a K20, K24 or even an engine that is put together with a mix of parts, there will be no fitment issues at all, they can all use the same kit.
  • The K-Tuned A/C & P/S Eliminator Kit deletes A/C, P/S and the factory belt tensioner from the engine. 
  • The alternator is then relocated lower and moves to the original A/C location, to increase clearance on even the tightest K-swap chassis. 
  • This part is particularly useful for EF K-swaps because it offers some much needed headlight clearance. If you want, you can even cut off the mounting tab that was used for the original tensioner. Doing this, allows ITB's and custom intake manifolds to be fitted very easily.
  • This kit deletes both A/C and P/S. There is NO way to keep them with this pulley kit.

A/C and P/S delete

Purchased kit, as always great customer service and fast shipping. I had multiple holes in my P/S line and the A/C didn’t work since I bought the car so I decided to just delete both. Install was straightforward in the sense of following directions, if you install this kit with engine still in the vehicle you will have to lower subframe quite a bit to get an Allen to tighten the lower 2 alternator bolts. Pulleys and brackets seem to be of good quality, dealing with the spacers and placement of the spacers is probably the hardest part. As far as actual review I’ve put 1000 miles on so far and have had no issues at all. I looped the power steering rack for the time being in hopes of going eps soon. On forums people complain about how hard it is to steer it, did not have this problem at all, yes it requires more effort than stock P/S, but isn’t THAT bad, hardest part is turning while car isn’t moving, once you get the wheels turning it’s quite a bit easier to steer. Its comparable to a later 90’s Honda honestly(my brother has a 95 del sol gsr swap with manual rack, it feels similar to, this kit requires a little more effort but is comparable, I know there are weight differences and other factors, just trying to get a comparison out there).

Does what's is intended, but have some issues. To start where the alternator is relocated I now have the problem that it seems to rub the subframe. Second problem is with the the alternator pully, why hasn't a pully been made where the lip is not an issue. Or perhaps a listing of alternators that don't have the lip in the way. Overall looks an seems great but have yet to been able to get mine set up right.

The tensioner is nice, brackets and spacers are bs. Install on a rsx and the lower alt bolts hit the subframe so install is an absolute pain. They also designed it so the spacers go behind the alt and behind brackets, making install further a pain. Holding the alt inside its bracket whil putting a bolt half way in then trying to fit a spacer all at once. It works and is installed, but the cheapness of the engineering shows in the brackets, spacers, and placement.

To start off, as always, this thing looks and feels amazing. Perfect product without a scratch on it. Install went really smooth and all parts were available and very straight forward. The new belt feels amazing and held tension. The tensioning mechanism works perfectly and once you have everything locked down you simply take it back off for a clean build. Typical thing with install will be to trace all the lines from AC back and to do something about your power steering whether that be loop the system or gut the rack. Draining and taking off the rad made this install A LOT easier.
