Perfect for a daily
Connor | May 16th, 2020
These springs bring a perfect balance between drop and comfort. Comfortable like the original springs but planting the car into a more aggressive stance. Definitely recommend for low without a slam look.
Great product

Much more firm compared to the stock springs. Launches, corners, and braking are much more controllable. Drops the car an inch and looks amazing. No rubbing or scraping but sits the fenders low to the wheels
So far an even drop, looks great, and rides well

So far after about a week of installation and a couple days after my alignment, my car looks much better than the stock height of the Civic Si. The ride overall is a tad stiffer - as some people have said, comfort mode is about as stiff as sport mode when stock. I think this is roughly true, but I always drove sport mode anyways when stock, since it never felt *that* different. Anyways, the ride is definitely doable as a daily. Apart from the aesthetics, I noticed that performance in corners, even at mid-higher speeds, I feel a little more planted and secure on the turn. Still have a bit of driving and pushing the car more to really get a sense of what the differences will be. But so far, really enjoying the look at the very least! This is how the Civic should have been from the factory. No rubbing on stock wheels and tires. I plan to get some 20mm spacers all around soon as temporary shoes until I get new wheels. I will try to update here for those who are curious, if I ever remember :) Oh and install tip: If you plan to install these yourself, absolutely install per-axle (fronts at the same time, backs at the same time), or have the off all four wheels. I made the mistake of doing the left side first, then right (mostly due to space limitations), and it made the work much more difficult than it should've been. The wheel on the floor from the other side you are working on, really limited the movement you need to remove the strut bar up front. And the rear was difficult to place one of the bolts back in once the other side was in. Without this mistake in installing, the install overall is not too bad if you are comfortable with working on cars! Great set of springs so far!
