The Honda OEM Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve is a genuine factory replacement designed for select Honda and Acura K20 and K24 engines, including the Honda Civic Si, Accord, CR-V, Crosstour, and Acura TSX. This valve regulates the flow of crankcase vapors back into the intake system, helping maintain proper crankcase ventilation and reliable engine operation.
Over time, PCV valves can become clogged, stick, or wear internally due to oil vapor and carbon buildup. A malfunctioning PCV valve may contribute to rough idling, excessive oil consumption, crankcase pressure buildup, and oil leaks.
