The Honda OEM Thermostat Housing O-Ring is a genuine factory replacement designed for select Honda and Acura K20 and K24 engine applications. This O-ring provides a secure, leak-resistant seal at the thermostat housing connection, helping maintain proper coolant circulation and cooling system pressure.
Over time, factory O-rings can become brittle, flattened, or damaged from repeated heating and cooling cycles. A worn or improperly seated O-ring may allow coolant to escape, resulting in coolant loss, overheating, or reduced cooling system reliability.

Installation Notes
- Always allow the engine to cool completely before servicing the cooling system. Remove the original O-ring and thoroughly clean the sealing groove and mating surfaces before installing the replacement.
- Inspect the thermostat housing for cracks, corrosion, or damage that could prevent proper sealing. Make sure the new O-ring is correctly seated before reassembly, and follow Honda's factory service manual procedures.
- After installation, refill the cooling system with the appropriate Honda-compatible coolant and properly bleed any trapped air.
