The Honda OEM Ignition Coil is a genuine factory replacement designed for select Honda K20 and K24 engines, including the 2002-2011 Honda Civic Si, 2003-2007 Honda Accord, and 2002-2009 Honda CR-V.
This direct ignition coil mounts directly above the spark plug and converts battery voltage into the high-voltage electrical energy needed to ignite the air-fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber. Installation Notes
- Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the original ignition coil mounting bolt before carefully lifting the coil from the spark plug well.
- Inspect the spark plug, electrical connector, and wiring harness for damage or corrosion before installing the replacement. Ensure the new coil is fully seated on the spark plug and properly secured.
