This assembly provides approximately 80% increase in torque capacity and is properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use. The Carbon Kevlar material with its alloy backing matched to a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and extended life. 500 mile break-in highly recommended with this set-up.

Pressure Plate rating: 1700lb clamp load

Clutch kit includes pressure plate, disc, throwout bearing, alignment tool, and pilot bushing.

Well I don't like to bash a product, but Comp has knowledge of a problem and refuses to rectify it. I bought a CC Stage 2 clutch with their LWFW in 2017 from here (I'd like to add KSERIESPARTS.COM has been fantastic and is not to blame whatsoever) My car makes a whopping 239whp. It's a daily. Zero track use, never launched (seriously.) After 2460 miles, my clutch disc failed gloriously. The metal containing the springs blows apart then contacts other areas you don't want a spinning disc smacking. I contacted Comp directly, spoke to a representative then finally to someone in "tech" whom said he'd seen it happen before, no worries we'll get it taken care of. As we all know tech don't run companies unfortunately. I shipped the clutch disc and PP+LWFW back to Comp to be looked at and warrantied. My claim was denied, not because of some fine print or misuse or any other 1 of 100s of reasons a company COULD pull out of deny a claim, but because their system defaults to Ticket closed after 1 month of inactivity on one end. Lucky me that was their end. I sent pictures, messages, and the whole physical clutch "kit" to them. After a few months a rep reached out to me and offered me a replacement, of the same Part numbers, for 30% off, from the same vendor as originally used,And most importantly that the Disc itself had been updated in the interim. Great, I like this site and will get a clutch that works. Wrong. 1200 miles. Daily driving. On a Brand new motor that I'm breaking in still! No throttle passed 35%, never spun above 4500rpm. The same failure occurred again. I'm livid. Two Competition Clutch Stage 2 's, TWO Failures, less than 5000 miles. This is also a noted problem on their Stage 4 kit. Chose another clutch, theres plenty of great options here.

This clutch is very good it feels good and it grabs the gears great, feels like a stage 2 after a couple days you’ll get used it, much like an oem feel but ofc a stage 2 couldn’t be happier

Replaced my OEM clutch and flywheel with this kit. Definitely grabs better than OEM. It's relatively annoying in traffic when I take trips to LA but that's with any upgraded clutch. Works fine and does the job. I daily my DC5 and it's all working fine 9 months later. The RPMs do drop faster but it's nothing dramatic. Great buy. Upon research though, It seemed their throw out bearing has given people problems so I didn't bother using it and replaced it with an ACT throw out bearing. 12K miles & 9 months of use.

This clutch is extremely grabby for what it is, and took some getting used to. Once the break in period is over, it becomes a lot softer on the pedal, and becomes almost like a stock clutch with a ton of bite. It's not too bad, but can get a little annoying in traffic. I have it on a stock engine with a 2-800-ST lightweight flywheel (also Competition Clutch), and it makes my k24 rev up and down just as fast as a k20. Shifts are very quick and don't take much effort once you get past the shift from first to second gear.

Smooth engagement of the clutch, grabs perfectly but not too aggressive, perfect for daily driving and street/track drag/ circuit racing. Straight forward install with no issues.
