I mated this to a 2.5" Vibrant ultra quiet resonator and a custom 2.5" midpipe. The exhaust note is a nice low rumble at idle up to 3-4k rpm. At WOT it opens up real nice but not too loud. The cabin noise isn't that bad, I've heard worse. No rice sound at all and it doesn't sound like a fart can. I love the sound, the look and going 2.5" gives me a little more HP from the small 1.7" pipe that was on my EP3.

I was going for the quietest 2.5 exhaust I could find, so I got this, Kteller piping, and the ultra quiet resonator. It's noticeably loud and droney, but a deep sound and not at all raspy. I honestly don't know how to gauge the sound because this is the only aftermarket exhaust I've ever installed. I love the look of it, that's for sure. I don't need to attract attention to myself with a flashy canister.

replaced muffler on sp2 cat-back. almost same sound except little more quit on cabin but gets little more louder ( deeper) on wot run. sounds good and i like it.
i love 3" tip it comes with it, not too big or not too small.
