I bought this resonator with a 2.5" Vibrant black street power muffler mated to a 2.5" midpipe from the cat back. It is not loud at all but I know if I didn't have this resonator on my car would be. With this setup it produces a nice low growl but when it's at WOT it opens up but not too loud. Great setup and sounds way better than a lot of full catback systems.

Put this together with the flat black muffler and Kteller piping. I was going for the quietest non-restrictive 2.5" catback I could find. I honestly don't know how to judge the sound since this is the only aftermarket exhaust I've ever installed. Anyway, it's noticeably loud and droney, but it's a deep sound and not at all raspy.
