These systems are designed for highly modified or turbocharged applications that require more exhaust flow than what is achievable with the standard Mega Power exhaust systems. We built these systems purely for power, so if you want a quiet exhaust, the MegaPowerR exhaust is not for you.

The Skunk2 Megapower R (70mm 2.75in) exhaust sounds amazing, it has a very deep sound paired with a DC Shorty and Magnaflow CAT... Easy to install, fitmet is almost perfect, it did cause the downpipe to shift towards the passer side a bit, causing what I beleive to be the donut gasket to leak. Only notice it under moderate to heavy acceleration.
NOTE, This exhaust makes the cars sound race car-ish...it's quite loud and is definitely a head-turner. There is some in-cabin drone, but not bad given its about the same level as the engine noise from the Innovative 85a engine mounts.
All-in-all, great exhaust, and would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade.

It can be loud, depends on the headers ur running, I’m running jackspania headers and this exhaust and it’s quiet in the inside but a little loud on the outside. Definitely feels faster!!
