It can be loud, depends on the headers ur running, I’m running jackspania headers and this exhaust and it’s quiet in the inside but a little loud on the outside. Definitely feels faster!!

Perfect exhaust; exactly what I was looking for. Fitment is great and I would consider it very near "direct fit." The only fitment issues I had were where it connects to the Cat. The bolts included with this exhaust are barely long enough to catch but they do fit/work. They definitely could have been longer though. The only other issue is once everything is bolted on/together, the hanger on the passenger side does rattle against a metal knob hanging down. Even after refitting the exhaust it still rattled so I ended up having to purchase a couple rubber bushings from Auto Zone to connect together and place on the hanger between the metal knob. Now it is perfect. As far as sound, it is exactly what I wanted. It is loud, definitely turns heads. But I love the sound as it is a nice, deep throaty sound. I have received many compliments on it. I guess the only other nitpick issue I have is that Skunk2 did not include a decal with the exhaust.... For $600, I feel like we should get a decal included.

This is amazing to say the least. Quick install and all parts needed where included. It does bubble on deceleration but it still sounds good. Plus if you live in a redneck town like I do, you will piss them off because your louder than there trucks ;) over all its just amazing skunk2 did the job.

I originally bought the Skunk2 60mm for my 03' Type-S and had that on the car for about 13,000 miles. I loved it, the sound was great. I then bought a race header and short ram intake so I figured I'd upgrade my cat-back to the 70mm. It sounds soo much deeper than the 60mm and I love that. Skunk2 you have made great exhaust system and you have a customer for life. Also, big thanks to ClubRSX & KSeriesParts for fast shipping and great customer service!

Great exhaust. Have had it on my car for about 3 weeks now. Tone is very deep. Not ricey at all. Got plenty of compliments on the sound. The only complaint is that I had to wrap it with header wrap underneath because the piping is bigger than stock and had a very slight rattle under the car. But wrapped it and it's perfect. Love it

skunk2 R is an amazing exhaust if u like loud!! paired with megan rh all i got were compliments on the sound, lots of extra power threw out the rpm range!! attracts cops tho as i got pulled over with a warning when i didnt have the silencer in

This was an easy install, direct fit with no problems! amazing roar even with the stock header. once you upgrade the heaader it sounds even better. amazing exhaust!

As mentioned, deep low sound and once the engine is warm, idle is quiet. With Injen SRI and Reflash it sounds even nicer! Doesn't look too much different than 05-06 year Type-S exhaust with the angled tip. You will enjoy this exhaust.

A great exhaust system, produced a nice loud deep tone through out the rpm range with no raspy sound at all. definatly recommended

If you want some thing loud and deep, get this exhaust now. This is the best sounding exhaust I have heard. I am running it with the stock header and cat for now until my rh off backorder, and it is still loud. I could not believe how deep it sounds to. It is also quite at idle and mid range rmp like around 3 - 3 1/2. Install was a snap. It fits right in. I would definitely recommend this exhaust that wants to be loud.
