The Honda OEM Knock Sensor is a genuine factory replacement designed for select Honda K20 and K24 engines, including the Honda Civic Si, Accord, CR-V, and Element. This sensor monitors engine vibrations to detect abnormal combustion, commonly known as engine knock or detonation.
When engine knock is detected, the sensor sends a signal to the ECU, allowing it to adjust ignition timing to help protect the engine from potentially damaging combustion conditions.
Over time, knock sensors can fail due to heat, vibration, or electrical damage. A malfunctioning sensor may cause a check engine light, reduced engine performance, hesitation, or diagnostic trouble codes such as P0325.

Installation Notes

worked perfectly, 03 RSX base. had to take out the intake manifold but it's not bad. no more CEL.

install from underneath, just above the starter. Removing the splash guard helps too. Knock sensor works great and took about 1/2 hour to install, even for a noob.
