The Ferrea VS1002 Exhaust Valve Stem Seal is designed for Honda and Acura engines using 5.5mm exhaust valve stems. Manufactured from a high-temperature Viton rubber compound, the VS1002 is engineered to withstand the elevated temperatures found on the exhaust side of the cylinder head while maintaining effective oil control around the valve stem and guide. Ferrea specifically identifies VS1002 as its high-temperature exhaust seal.

An excellent choice for performance cylinder-head builds, rebuilds, and valvetrain upgrades, the VS1002 can be used with factory-style applications as well as compatible Ferrea copper-bronze exhaust valve guides. Ferrea lists the seal for numerous Honda and Acura engine families, including B-Series, D-Series, F-Series, H-Series, K-Series, and S2000 applications.

Ferrea's catalog lists VS1002 for applications including B17A1, B18C1/C3, B18A1/B1, K20, K20C1 Turbo, K24Z-series, F22-series, D16-series, B16-series, H22A1–A4, F20C and F22C engines. Because Honda and Acura applications can vary by cylinder head and valve configuration, confirm a 5.5mm exhaust valve stem before ordering.
