Taking cues from its industry-leading Pro-C and Pro-S II Coilovers, Skunk2s high-performance, factory-replacement Sport Shocks for the 96-00 Civic employ many of the same technologies and manufacturing processes as Skunk2s more advanced, full coilover suspension systems. Each Sport Shocks dual-tube design features a hardened, chrome-plated and super-finished shaft and precision valving dialed in by Skunk2s suspension engineers, which results in exceptional durability, reliability, and smooth operation. Sport Shocks offer an integrated approach to suspension tuning at a cost-effective level. Designed to complement Skunk2 Lowering Springs or Adjustable Sleeve Coilovers, Sport Shocks feature shortened shock bodies and reduced shaft strokes to help maintain adequate suspension travel on lowered vehicles for improved performance without sacrificing comfort. When matched with Skunk2s Lowering Springs or Adjustable Sleeve Coilovers, Sport Shocks offer exceptional control, handling, balance, and comfort at an affordable price.

Lowered 99 EK coupe rides better.
Patrick Gilmore | November 6th, 2017
When I got my 99 Civic it was lowered with coil over springs and sleeves on stock shocks. It rode like a diving board. After a couple of weeeks with my head hitting the roof when I went over a good sized bump, I decided to installed these sport shocks. The ride is much improved, it's still a bit stiff but some of that is to be expected. You can also tell by holding these shocks they're quality pieces. I might eventually add the Skunk2 coil over springs and sleeves maybe that will help the ride and handling some more.
