Skunk2 is pleased to announce our all new line of 76mm (3 inch) Mega Power R exhaust systems. Skunk2 Mega Power R exhaust systems are based off of the exhaust systems we custom build for our road race and time attack cars. These systems are designed for highly modified naturally aspirated or turbocharged applications that require more exhaust flow than what is achievable with the our standard 60mm Mega Power and 70mm Mega Power R exhaust systems. Dyno-proven for maximum horsepower, Skunk2 Racing Mega Power R cat-back systems are constructed from T-304 stainless steel, are robotically TIG welded, and feature CNC mandrel bending which allows the tubing to maintain a constant diameter throughout. Each system is designed with oversized tubing and mufflers to achieve the additional flow that is required for high horsepower vehicles. A Skunk2 removable silencer and all necessary hardware are also included.

The exhaust sounds great but the fitment SUCKS. It

The fitment wasn't good to start off with, I had to go to an rxhaust shop and it turns out it was hosting my floorboard in many places and the bend near the cat was too early so it rattled at idle, the shop had to lower it one finger height,0.5 inches which causes me to scrape in speedbumbes and my driveway, and I'm at stock height. Sound amazing though

Nice exhaust... Quality is quite good. Welds all look amazing. Not sure why they went with the 2 bolt flange to the cat but i just used an unforgettable test pipe which didnt have that back flange on anyways. Just stuck the 2 bolt on that an everything fit quite good. It is a little loud but with a turbo its still quieter than agresssive N/A setups. No complaints

Great exhaust for the price, I couldn't be happier. It is a large exhaust so you do have to mess with it to get it to not rub on the swaybar or something. Overall though I'm very happy, it is pretty loud on a turbo setup though.

Well the Skunk2 76mm Mega Power "R" is the best $600 I spent so far. The fitment is PERFECT, but the sound can get a bit annoying but that's why they have silencers for long trips. Only problem that I've noticed were the two hangers on the resonator when there is only one hanger on the car in that location. If you use the left hanger it rattles in the back, but if you use the right hanger the resonator rattles against the heat shield, minor problems that can be fixed with a single hammer, and modified hanger (bending and cutting the rubber hanger). Another issue is clearance with the extra sized pipe diameter; the pipe hangs lower so there is scrubbing when going over speed bumps and going up steep inclines, but again this may be due to my car being lowered; on a stock ride height I see there being no problems. Almost forgot it's not as loud as you think but I'm running a Greddy turbo with 3" unforgettable test pipe and 3" natedog downpipe.
