One reason I went for this pair of hoses is because of the top hose that clears the intake tube. The previous hose had the original shape and had a good amount of contact with the SRI tube, so I had to add additional protection to prevent holes. This hose clears it better, but still very close. However, it now also has contact with the battery shield. I add protection with large wire conduits where necessary.
I did have to cut off a small bit of the hoses to fit properly on my RSX, but that's better than having them too short.
