The Honda OEM Clutch Slave Cylinder is a genuine factory replacement designed for select Honda and Acura vehicles equipped with K-Series engines and manual transmissions, including the 2002-2006 Acura RSX, 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si (EP3), and 2004-2008 Acura TSX.
The clutch slave cylinder is an essential component of the hydraulic clutch system. When the clutch pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure from the clutch master cylinder activates the slave cylinder, which operates the clutch release mechanism to disengage the clutch and allow smooth gear changes.
Over time, internal seals can deteriorate, resulting in hydraulic fluid leaks, inconsistent clutch engagement, or difficulty shifting gears. Common symptoms of a failing clutch slave cylinder include a soft or spongy clutch pedal, fluid leakage near the transmission, grinding during shifts, or a clutch that does not fully disengage.

Installation Notes
- Before installation, inspect the existing clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, hydraulic lines, and related components for signs of fluid leakage, corrosion, or damage.
- Remove the original clutch slave cylinder according to Honda's factory service procedures. Take care to prevent hydraulic fluid from contacting painted surfaces.
- Install the replacement Honda OEM clutch slave cylinder using the correct factory mounting hardware and hydraulic connections. Replace any required hydraulic line seals or O-rings and follow factory tightening specifications.
- After installation, refill the clutch hydraulic reservoir with the Honda-specified fluid and thoroughly bleed the clutch hydraulic system to remove trapped air.
- Verify proper clutch pedal operation, clutch engagement, and smooth gear selection before driving.
