The Honda OEM Thermostat Housing O-Ring is a genuine factory replacement designed for select Honda and Acura cooling systems, including popular K20 and K24 engine applications. This O-ring creates a secure, leak-resistant seal at compatible thermostat housing and coolant inlet connections, helping maintain proper cooling system operation.
Over time, coolant O-rings can become brittle, flattened, or damaged from repeated heating and cooling cycles. A worn seal may allow coolant to escape, potentially causing low coolant levels, overheating, or cooling system pressure loss.

Installation Notes
- Allow the engine to cool completely before servicing the cooling system. Remove the old O-ring and clean the sealing groove and mating surfaces before installing the replacement.
- Inspect the thermostat housing and coolant connections for cracks, corrosion, or damage. Ensure the new O-ring is properly seated and follow Honda's factory service manual procedures during reassembly.
- After installation, refill the cooling system with the appropriate coolant and bleed any trapped air.

O-ring is oem and arrived quickly. Very happy with purchase. Be sure to replace this every time you replace water pump or separate the water passage. If you have oil mixed in your coolant and it's not a head gasket issue, this could a culprit.
