Deep, Performance-Oriented Exhaust Tone
- The EX-5016's straight-through design is engineered to provide a deeper and more resonant exhaust note while allowing exhaust gases to flow efficiently through the muffler. DC Sports describes the design as providing more tone while controlling excessive rasp compared with a simple straight-pipe setup.
Universal Fitment
- The DC Sports EX-5016 is a universal muffler rather than a vehicle-specific direct-fit exhaust component. DC Sports and current retailers list this configuration for 2.25-inch exhaust applications, so installation requirements will depend on your vehicle's existing exhaust system.
- Custom welding, exhaust tubing, hangers, reducers, or other fabrication may be required. Verify the 2.25-inch inlet, 3.25-inch outlet, 16.25-inch length, and available underbody clearance before ordering.
The DC Sports EX-5016 Universal Round Muffler is an excellent choice for enthusiasts looking to combine a deep performance sound, straight-through exhaust flow, polished stainless-steel construction, and aggressive slant-cut styling in a versatile universal muffler.
