We chose Titanium for our Xtreme line, because it is resistant to the constant heating and cooling cycles common to wheels that will destroy steel studs and bolts. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- If you use our titanium studs and titanium lug nuts you must use generous amounts of anti-sieze to avoid galling.
- Precision Ti64 spline results in no welding or spinning of the stud in the hub.
- Each Extended Stud weighs 34 grams. Compare to the factory wheel stud weight of 37 grams and ARP wheel studs of 68+ grams.
- Wheel studs must properly be pressed in using a mechanical or hydraulic press.
