Interesting product. The results for me were as expected and impressive. The FlashPro brought my 2017 Civic EX-T to a new level of performance. The platform (Hondata Software and mobile app) could be improved and better integrated into the CIVIC head unit display. Also need help or time understanding the mobile app, but it is actually a separate product and cost me $9 extra.

Very easy to use, if you have never used a FlashPro before I reccomend watching a YouTube tutorial. Flashed my Ecu in about 15 minutes. Can definitely tell a difference in the power, exactly what the Civic needed.

Bought a Hondata flash pro for my 2018 Honda Civic sport hatchback on a Wednesday got here on a Friday on free shipping!

I got the Flash Pro And tried to install it without using the LapTop. You need the Laptop to know where you are In the Programming. I tried to add the Sport Mode on Start Up And Got Into Trouble. I had to wait for a few hours to call in because I am on the East Coast so I put my battery Charger on while waiting. When I called, I spoke to a Mr. Chavez who was More Than Patient And Resolved ALL of my fears and helped me to get it perfect! If a 74 year Old can do this Anyone can! Great Power and now the car runs like "I" wanted it to! Now to raise the RPM Rev limiter so I have time to shift before it hits it!

I'll have to say, it's a blast! The only thing that I am not feeling, is low end torque. It takes 1.5-2 seconds, before she wants to move. Not sure what that is. Next week, scheduled for a Dyno tune. Flash pro had an recent update, So we'll see what happens. Just can't wait till I start putting on performance parts. Definitely the brakes. They are not meant to handle faster speeds. FMIC, DP , FP, CAI, throttle spacer....etc....in the future. Can anybody tell me if there is an LSD available for the Sport?

The first installation caused a misfire. After reinstalling and going through 4 drive cycles (which I originally did not know I had to do), the car is running better. I have to let the car warm up before driving now for a smooth ride. There is no difference with the acceleration off the line and the turbo does not spool faster as Hondata states. The gains are amazing and I consistently beat the stock 2017 Si without any issues. I am really nervous about the previous misfires and every time i accelerate from a stop it is all I think about. I feel a custom tune would have been more safe, but my Honda service manager said I can just uninstall the flashpro before servicing the car if there are any issues and the warranty should still cover everything, therefore flashpro is better bc a custom tune voids warranties. The torque and horsepower gains are amazing though, especially on cool nights. I cant wait until I drive in the winter. Also, Affirm financing was the reason I actualy went with the flashpro. They are great!
