Installation Notes

Before installation, verify that your vehicle's shift lever uses an M10 x 1.5mm thread pitch.
Remove the original shift knob according to the vehicle manufacturer's recommended procedures. Depending on the vehicle, the factory shift boot or retaining collar may need to be released before removing the original knob.
Thread the replacement Honda OEM Civic Type R shift knob onto the shift lever by hand, taking care not to cross-thread the internal threads.
Position the shift knob so the 6-speed shift pattern is correctly oriented toward the driver. A compatible retaining nut or shift boot collar may be required to secure the knob in the proper position.
