The Turbosmart TS-2-7170B-VR107E TS-2 7170 Kompact Turbocharger is a high-performance, reverse-rotation turbo engineered for applications demanding serious horsepower, rapid transient response, and compact packaging. This specific configuration combines a 71mm compressor inducer, 70mm turbine exducer, 1.07 A/R turbine housing, V-band inlet and outlet, external wastegate configuration, and reverse-rotation architecture. On the hot side, a 713C Inconel turbine wheel provides the temperature resistance required for extreme exhaust gas temperatures. Turbosmart also CFD-developed the housings for optimized flow and reduced backpressure and VSR speed-balances each turbocharger for high-speed operation.

Installation requires a properly designed exhaust manifold, external wastegate system, downpipe, charge piping, oil feed and drain plumbing, and coolant feed and return plumbing.
