The Turbosmart TS-2-6870B-VB096E TS-2 6870 Kompact Turbocharger is engineered for high-horsepower street and motorsport applications that demand strong airflow, exceptional transient response, and compact packaging. This specific configuration combines a 68mm compressor inducer, 70mm turbine exducer, 0.96 A/R V-band turbine housing, external wastegate configuration, and oil-and-water-cooled center housing. Turbosmart rates the 6870 platform for approximately 850–990 horsepower.
Turbosmart developed the TS-2 series using modern materials and advanced aerodynamic design to create turbochargers that are smaller, lighter, and faster responding while maintaining the airflow required at high engine loads. A proprietary dual ceramic bearing system works with an ultra-low-mass rotating assembly and aggressive 7+7 2618 aluminum splitter-style compressor wheel to promote rapid spool and excellent response throughout the powerband.
