Compact Direct-Mount Design
- Traditional inline turbo oil filters can require additional hose, fittings, and mounting space. Turbosmart developed the TS-0804-1004 with an extremely compact housing specifically so it can be positioned directly at the turbocharger's oil-feed connection.
- The integrated banjo fitting also allows the feed-line orientation to be adjusted during installation, making the filter particularly useful in crowded engine bays where clearance around the turbocharger is limited.
Serviceable 44-Micron Stainless Element
- Clean oil is critical to turbocharger reliability. The TS-0804-1004 incorporates a 44-micron stainless-steel filter element to help capture debris before it enters the turbocharger.

The filter is not intended to correct excessive or insufficient turbocharger oil pressure; an appropriate oil-pressure regulator or restrictor may still be required depending on the turbocharger and engine combination.
