Take control of boost in serious high-horsepower turbo applications with the Turbosmart TS-0555-1015 GenV PowerGate60 External Wastegate. Featuring a massive 60mm valve and Turbosmart's stealthy Sleeper finish, the PowerGate60 is the largest external wastegate in the GenV lineup and is designed for applications requiring exceptional exhaust-gas bypass flow and precise boost control.
The GenV PowerGate60 was extensively redesigned using CFD optimization and in-house flow validation to improve flow capacity, thermal management, fatigue resistance, and overall durability. Its large valve area makes it particularly well suited to high-output turbo systems where smaller wastegates may struggle to bypass enough exhaust gas to maintain the desired boost pressure.
The TS-0555-1015 comes preconfigured for 14 PSI, but Turbosmart supplies additional springs for tuning base wastegate pressure. Its modular GenV architecture also provides a rotatable actuator, multiple reference ports, optional liquid cooling, and compatibility with an optional wastegate position sensor.

High-Flow 60mm Boost Control
- The PowerGate60 is designed for turbo systems requiring a substantial amount of exhaust gas to bypass the turbine. Adequate wastegate flow is particularly important on large turbochargers, high-output engines, and combinations targeting relatively low boost pressure compared with the turbocharger's potential airflow.
- Turbosmart developed the GenV range around extensive CFD and bench testing to maximize flow while improving thermal management. The resulting PowerGate60 provides the bypass capacity needed to help maintain stable boost control and combat unwanted boost creep in properly designed turbo systems.
Sleeper Series Finish
- TS-0555-1015 is the Sleeper version of the PowerGate60. It combines the performance of the standard GenV WG60 with a stealth-oriented blacked-out appearance, including dark hardware that blends particularly well with black manifolds, turbo housings, charge piping, and other engine-bay components.
- This is also the 14 PSI version. Turbosmart offers the PowerGate60 in several colors and spring-pressure configurations, so the complete TS-0555-1015 part number is important when ordering.
Adjustable and Modular GenV Design
- Turbosmart's GenV architecture gives builders considerable flexibility when packaging the wastegate. The actuator housing can be rotated/clocked, allowing the reference ports to be positioned around surrounding components rather than forcing the boost-control hoses into a fixed orientation.
- For applications subjected to extreme sustained exhaust temperatures or limited airflow around the wastegate, the GenV actuator also incorporates provisions for optional liquid cooling. Turbosmart confirms that liquid cooling is optional rather than a requirement for normal operation.
Complete Installation Package
- The TS-0555-1015 is supplied with considerably more than the wastegate itself. Turbosmart includes the SS316 valve seat, inlet and outlet weld flanges, strap-style V-band clamps, locking collar tool, reference fittings, plugs, and the complete selection of 3, 5, 7 and 14 PSI springs, with the 14 PSI configuration installed for this model.
- Because the PowerGate60 is a universal external wastegate, proper placement and manifold design are critical to boost-control performance. Installation requires a compatible wastegate provision on the exhaust manifold and fabrication of the appropriate outlet/dump tube or recirculated wastegate plumbing.
