These replaced a set of TEIN Street Advance from 12yrs ago. The initial set lasted that long, so I hope quality and reputation are upheld. Comparing these to the Street Advance is challenging due to stiffer spring rates in the Flex Z. Though overall the Flex Z seems to be a bit better, once you determine the suitable soft/stiff for the dampers. These work well for spirited driving and street, though keep in mind taking road imperfections requires acknowledgement of the stiffer ride. I do wish these had separate height adjustment from preload. I misread the TEIN website description believing they were separate. I am happy for the purchase. Now what remains is will these last 12yrs, because at that point the car will be 42yrs old!!!
