I've been wanting to lower my RSX base for a while now and finally pulled the trigger. Went with a spring and shock combo vs a pre-built coilover with stiffer spring rates.
These S-Tech Springs + Truhart lowering shocks are the way to go. I noticed an increase in stiffness of about 10-15% over stock; still very comfortable for my 80 mile commute to work daily. Cars looks great, not too low... I didnt want to slam it since the road where im from kinda suck. Overall, waiting and going with this setup was perfect for me.

It took a little over 4hrs because of the tie rod...at the end it look good and feel great. Notice the drop from right away. Recommend anyone to get this if they can't afford the coil yet.

Getting just lowering springs I was at first worried. To get a nice drop on my ride without having to ruin your shocks these are probably the better quality of lowering springs if you want a drop close to Skunk2. A friend has skunk2 and the drop is lower than my car, but the ride doesn't feel even remotely as smooth as my car. I live in the city so nice roads are hard to come by and have had this drop in place for a few months no issues and the suspension feels good.
