Upgrade your Honda D-Series valvetrain with Supertech Titanium Valve Spring Retainers, part number RET-H1003-T1-16. Designed specifically for use with Supertech SPR-H1003S / SPR-1003S valve springs, these lightweight performance retainers provide the strength and precision required for high-performance and high-RPM engine builds. Supertech lists RET-H1003/T1 as the titanium retainer used with its H1003-series Honda spring applications.
Supertech manufactures its titanium retainers from high-strength, aerospace/military-certified titanium alloy and CNC machines them to precise tolerances. The titanium construction reduces valvetrain mass compared with conventional steel retainers while maintaining the strength necessary to securely locate the valve spring. Reducing reciprocating valvetrain weight can improve valve control and is particularly beneficial in engines operating at elevated RPM.
The RET-H1003-T1-16 package includes a complete set of 16 titanium retainers, making it suitable for a complete 16-valve cylinder-head build. These retainers are intended to be matched with the correct Supertech springs, valves, locks/keepers, and installed-height requirements rather than treated as a universal OEM replacement.
