The Mishimoto MMBCC-CBTWO-XLBK XL Baffled Oil Catch Can is designed to capture oil vapors and blow-by from PCV and CCV air before they return to the intake system. Separating these contaminants helps defend the intercooler, intake system, and other essential components from oil buildup and carbon deposits.

An internal air diverter increases turbulence to help oil particles settle in the can, while the 50-micron bronze filter allows cleaner air to pass through to the intake. An internal baffle helps keep collected oil from splashing during race conditions. The two-port design provides one inlet and one outlet for installation on PCV and CCV systems.

The catch can provides a 7.5-fluid-ounce capacity for heavy blow-by collection or extended service intervals. Its 100-percent billet 6061 aluminum construction includes M16 x 1.5 threads at the inlet, outlet, and drain area, along with two black anodized, CNC-machined aluminum fittings. Viton O-rings help seal captured blow-by inside the can.

A top mounting setup allows installation from multiple angles. The removable drain plug supports maintenance and can allow a return to the oil pan. The catch can is 100-percent washable, enabling the filtration system to be cleaned rather than replaced. Unlike heated air-oil-separator systems, this unheated catch can is designed to condense blow-by, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors, and retain the collected material in the can.
