We've seen too many 2012-2015 9th gen Civics sitting on the side of the road with smashed and cracked oil pans and a puddle of oil surrounding the front end.
- We know you want to put your Civic on the floor, it just looks better we get it.
- The Crash Bar is meant to be insurance to help save your oil pan.
- It sits approximate 3/4" lower than the oil pan and will now be the primary piece taking the abuse from daily driving.
- The idea here is that any obstructions you may face in the road will first hit the crash bar and saving the oil pan.

I got this so that my oil pan would be protected. on the safe side. but not only did it do that but it actually adds some structural rigidity to the chassis. it took corners a lot smoother surprisingly. highly HIGHLY recommend it
