Restore a tighter, more precise shifting feel with the Hybrid Racing HYB-SCB-01-13 Shifter Cable Bushing Kit. Designed for select Honda manual-transmission applications, these upgraded inserts replace the factory plastic shifter cable bushings that can wear, crack, and develop excessive play over time.
As the original plastic inserts deteriorate, additional clearance develops between the shifter and cable ends, resulting in loose or sloppy gear changes. Hybrid Racing's upgraded Delrin and machined aluminum inserts reduce this unwanted movement and restore a more direct connection between the shifter and cables. This makes the HYB-SCB-01-13 an affordable alternative to replacing the complete shifter cable assembly.
Installation is straightforward: remove the center console, disconnect the shifter cables from the shifter, remove the original plastic inserts, and install the upgraded Hybrid Racing bushings. No complete cable replacement is necessary, making this a simple upgrade for both restoration and performance applications.
