The transmission's behind the driver instead of in front of the driver, and the cable routing's completely different. These cables are longer and designed specifically for NSX K swaps using Hybrid Racing's RSX shifter and RWD transmission bracket. The RWD bracket lets the cables mount to the front of the K series transmission instead of from the rear like in a FWD setup, thus providing the correct engagement and function on a RWD setup. You're getting the correct cable geometry and the correct cable length for a clean install. In a FWD K swap like an EG Civic or an Integra, the transmission's in front of the driver and the shifter cables mount to the top of the transmission and exit over the rear of the transmission. The cables use spherical bearings at the mounting points instead of rubber bushings. Rubber flexes under load and makes the shifter feel sloppy. Spherical bearings don't flex. The push rods are stainless steel. The swivel support tubes are stainless steel instead of plastic. OEM cables use plastic tubes that break under hard shifting. The rod ends and mounting bushings are CNC-machined 6061 aluminum, black anodized, and laser-etched. The cable cores are permanently lubricated so they don't bind or stick. The cables are heat-resistant to 225°F, and the max bend radius is 5 inches. Don't route them tighter than that or you'll shorten their life.
