Improve shift feel, precision, and durability with the Hybrid Racing HYB-SCA-01-25 Performance Shifter Cables. Designed as a direct performance replacement for the factory shifter cables in 2017-2021 Honda Civic Si, Sport, Sport Touring, and LX manual-transmission models, these upgraded cables reduce the flex and compliance found in the OEM cable assembly for a firmer, more connected shifting experience.
Hybrid Racing replaces many of the factory plastic and rubber components with motorsport-oriented hardware, including solid rod ends, spherical bearings, stainless steel push rods, and CNC-machined 6061 aluminum end links and mounting bushings. The result is more direct feedback through the shifter, helping provide cleaner gear engagement and reducing the likelihood of missed shifts during aggressive driving.
The cables utilize a stainless steel core and core guides, a permanently lubricated internal core, and a high-temperature wire-reinforced outer sleeve. Hybrid Racing rates the cables for temperatures up to 225°F and specifies a 5-inch maximum bend radius for optimum service life, making them well suited for daily-driven performance cars, autocross, road racing, and other demanding applications.
