Designed for select Honda and Acura K-Series engines, this upgraded gasket is precision-machined from a high-quality thermal-resistant polymer that helps limit heat transfer from the cylinder head into the aluminum intake manifold.
Unlike the thin stamped-steel OEM-style gasket, Hybrid Racing's thermal gasket acts as an insulating barrier between the cylinder head and intake manifold. Reducing heat transfer can help keep intake manifold temperatures more consistent, which is especially beneficial in performance applications where underhood temperatures can rise significantly.
The HYB-IMG-01-05 is precisely machined for proper port alignment and sealing and is compatible with several popular K20 and K24 engine combinations. It's a simple upgrade for naturally aspirated, supercharged, turbocharged, street, and track-oriented K-Series builds.
