Protect critical components from extreme underhood heat with the Hybrid Racing HYB-FHS-00-02 Thermal Protective Heat Sleeve Kit. Designed for universal automotive applications, this high-temperature sleeve provides an effective thermal barrier for wiring, shifter cables, hoses, fluid lines, and other components routed near exhaust manifolds, headers, downpipes, and other high-heat areas.
Hybrid Racing constructs the sleeve from braided fiberglass yarns saturated with high-temperature resins and dyes. This construction improves stability under extreme temperatures and mechanical stress while also helping minimize the irritating fiberglass dusting associated with untreated fiberglass sleeving.
Each HYB-FHS-00-02 kit includes two 12-inch-long sleeve sections with a 0.75-inch inside diameter, along with four stainless steel locking ties to keep the sleeves securely positioned. Its universal design makes it a useful addition to street cars, engine swaps, turbocharged builds, race cars, and other applications where cables or lines must pass close to high-temperature components.
