Simplify the accessory drive on your JDM K24A swap with the Hybrid Racing HYB-BUN-01-B2 Idler Bracket, Pulley & Belt Combo. Designed specifically for the popular JDM K24A engine, this kit replaces the factory hydraulic power steering pump while retaining the OEM automatic belt tensioner and alternator for reliable, properly controlled serpentine belt tension.
Hybrid Racing developed its K24A-specific idler system to solve common power-steering-delete issues such as poor belt alignment, excessive tension, belt slip, and limited hood clearance. Rather than relying on an adjustable alternator or improvised tensioning setup, the system keeps the factory automatic tensioner functioning as Honda intended.
The HYB-BUN-01-B2 configuration is specifically intended for JDM K24A engines equipped with a 6.50-inch (165mm) crank pulley. It uses Hybrid Racing's K24A-specific HYB-IDB-01-04 idler bracket and the appropriate HYB-BLT-00-03 51.2-inch belt for a power-steering and A/C-delete configuration.
