The Honda OEM Engine Oil Filter (15400-PLM-A02) is a genuine Honda replacement engine oil filter for the cataloged Honda and Acura applications. It provides the replaceable filtration component used during an engine oil service, helping capture contaminants carried through the lubrication system.

Replacing the filter with the specified service part renews the filtration component while retaining the factory filter mounting arrangement. The correct engine oil grade, fill quantity, and service interval remain specific to the vehicle and operating conditions.

Features

• Genuine Honda service filter identified by its exact OEM part number.
• Replacement filter for the cataloged engine lubrication system.

• Scheduled engine oil and filter service.
• A damaged or leaking filter identified during inspection.
• Renewing service consumables after compatible engine repair.

Installation Notes

1. Allow hot engine components and oil to cool to a safe working temperature, support the vehicle correctly, and follow its oil-service procedure.
2. Remove the old filter and confirm its sealing gasket comes away with it. Clean and inspect the filter mounting surface.
3. Prepare and install the replacement filter as directed by the vehicle service information and the instructions supplied with the filter. Avoid double-gasketing and overtightening.
4. Complete the oil service with the specified oil and required drain-plug seal. Start the engine, confirm oil pressure, inspect for leaks, and recheck the level as directed.

Popular Performance Applications

A routine service item for supported factory engines, restored vehicles, and compatible engine builds. A swapped chassis alone does not establish the correct filter; use the retained engine and filter mounting arrangement.
