The Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket is a precision-engineered thermal barrier designed for the D16A1, D16A3, D16A8, and D16Z5 engines found in the 1986–1989 Acura Integra. By reducing heat transfer between the cylinder head and intake manifold, this gasket helps lower intake air temperatures, improving efficiency, throttle response, and reliability — especially under performance driving conditions.
Constructed from advanced thermal insulating material, the Hondata heat barrier gasket provides a superior seal and consistent airflow compared to traditional composite or metal gaskets. It’s also compatible with a wide range of international Honda models, including the 1988–1995 Honda Civic, CRX, and Concerto (UK/Europe/Australia), as well as the 1989–1992 Honda CRX (European market).
