The DE5 FlashPro comes preloaded with a base map that will add 45 hp and 50 lb-ft torque at the click of a button. The factory ECU has to be jailbroken for FlashPro to work with the DE5. This is a separate product from Hondata. FlashPro is by far the most critical modification you will make. Many aftermarket parts claim to add horsepower and torque to your car immediately, but the only way to get everything out of the parts you buy is to get the car tuned. If you plan on getting other performance mods like a cold air intake or exhaust, you will want FlashPro to get the maximum performance from your new parts. Hondata is a state-of-the-art tuning device that enables individuals to optimize their vehicle's performance through advanced computer programming. Connecting the FlashPro to your laptop's USB and the vehicle's diagnostic port gives you access to live tuning, various calibrations, and extensive real-time and stored data logging capabilities.

While it is technically possible for an individual to utilize this device, we recommend consulting with a professional tuner to ensure proper and safe implementation. Attempting to use the device without adequate knowledge and expertise can negatively affect the vehicle and its performance.  The factory ECU has to be jailbroken for FlashPro to work with the DE5.
