Bring K-Series performance to the first-generation Honda Fit with the Hasport GDK20 K20 Engine Swap Mount Bracket Kit. Designed for the 2007–2008 Honda Fit (GD chassis), the GDK20 provides the brackets required to install a Honda K20 engine with an Acura RSX or 2002–2011 Honda Civic Si manual transmission.
Unlike many Hasport swap kits that replace the complete engine mount system, the GDK20 is a bracket kit that retains and reuses the factory Honda Fit engine mounts. This makes it a specialized solution engineered specifically around the GD Fit chassis and its original mounting system.
Hasport engineered the GDK20 using modern solid-modeling and CAD/CAM technology. The included components combine a CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum upper engine bracket with application-specific steel transmission brackets to properly position the K-Series drivetrain in the Fit engine bay.

The kit does not include replacement polyurethane engine mounts; it is designed to work with the Fit's original mounts.
Additional Swap Components Required
- The GDK20 is only the engine/transmission mounting portion of the K20 conversion. Hasport's installation documentation identifies additional components typically required, including a K20 manual-transmission intermediate shaft, swap axles, K-Series ECU and engine harness, cooling fan solution, and K20 Fit swap header. Other wiring, cooling, fuel, exhaust, shifter, and application-specific components will also need to be addressed.
Installation Note
- This is an involved engine conversion. Hasport's installation instructions state that because the K-Series drivetrain is considerably larger than the original Fit L-Series drivetrain, engine-bay sheet-metal modification is required to provide adequate clearance. Hasport recommends having the conversion performed by an experienced shop if the installer is not familiar with engine swaps.
Important Fitment Note:
- GDK20 is a bracket kit for installing a K20 engine into the 2007–2008 Honda Fit while retaining the factory Fit mounts. It is not a complete polyurethane replacement mount kit. For a K24-powered GD Fit, use the corresponding Hasport GDK24 kit instead.
