Designed for 1992–1995 Honda Civic, 1994–1997 Honda Del Sol, and 1994–2001 Acura Integra applications, the EGJ system provides a purpose-built mounting solution for installing Honda and Acura J-Series V6 engines and compatible transmissions into the EG/DC chassis.

After the required engine-bay modifications are completed, the Hasport EGJ system provides the mounting points needed to install the J-Series drivetrain. Engine placement is engineered around proper axle alignment and ground clearance, making it a strong foundation for naturally aspirated, supercharged, turbocharged, street, or competition-oriented J-Series swaps.

Hasport offers the system in EGJ1 and EGJ2 configurations. The EGJ1 uses Hasport's standard optimized engine position, while the EGJ2 features a dual-height design that provides additional flexibility when balancing hood clearance, ground clearance, and drivetrain positioning.

Important Installation Note
  • The EGJ is not a completely modification-free swap. Hasport states that modifications to the engine bay are required before the J-Series engine and transmission can be installed. Hasport's installation documentation describes the conversion as a complicated engine swap requiring chassis modifications and recommends professional installation for builders without previous engine-swap experience.
  • The mount kit addresses the engine and transmission mounting portion of the conversion only. A complete J-Series swap will require additional components such as the appropriate axles, wiring and ECU solution, fuel-system components, cooling-system components, shifter and transmission controls, exhaust components, and other swap-specific hardware.
The Hasport EGJ J-Series Engine Mount Kit provides a proven foundation for combining Honda's lightweight EG/DC platform with the torque and displacement of a J-Series V6, making it an excellent choice for everything from a unique street build to a high-performance drag or track car.
