The CDK is a mount-kit family with several configurations depending on which transmission is being used:
- CDK2 – RSX and 2002–2011 Civic Si manual transmissions
- CDK4 – 2003–2007 Accord and 2004–2008 TSX manual transmissions
- CDK5 – 2008–2013 Accord, 2009–2014 TSX, and 2012–2015 Civic Si manual transmissions
- CDKAWD – K-Series CR-V and Element AWD or FWD manual transmissions
Selecting the correct transmission configuration is essential when ordering.
Bushing Options
- U62A – Street: Best suited for daily-driven and street-oriented vehicles
- U70A – Race: Firmer option for aggressive street, autocross, and track use
- U88A – Extreme Race: Very stiff configuration intended primarily for competition
- U94A – Most Extreme Race: Maximum drivetrain control for dedicated race applications
Higher-durometer bushings provide greater control over drivetrain movement but will also increase noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) transmitted into the chassis.
Installation Requirements
- Installation requires engine-bay modification and welding. Hasport specifically states that the factory transmission bracket must be cut from the frame rail. Once the necessary chassis modifications have been completed, the mount system provides the mounting solution for the K-Series drivetrain.
- Additional components will be required to complete the swap, including the appropriate transmission, axles, intermediate shaft, shifter/cables, wiring and ECU solution, cooling system components, intake, exhaust, and other application-specific hardware.
- Hasport also offers the HP-CDKAX axle set for K-swapped 1994–1997 Accords. This axle package is designed for use with an Accord/TSX intermediate shaft and is specified by Hasport for street use rather than drag racing.
Important Fitment Note:
- CDK identifies the complete Hasport mount family for K-Series swaps into the 1994–1997 Honda Accord. The correct version—CDK2, CDK4, CDK5, or CDKAWD—must be selected according to the transmission being used. Installation requires cutting the factory transmission bracket from the frame rail and involves welding, so professional installation or appropriate fabrication experience is recommended.
