Designed specifically for the 1999–2000 Honda Civic Si and 1994–1997 Honda Del Sol VTEC, this performance header is engineered around the B16A2 and B16A3 DOHC VTEC engines. DC Sports currently lists HHC5504 as the ceramic-coated version of its header for these applications.
The HHC5504 features a one-piece 4-2-1 configuration with equal-length primary runners. This design promotes efficient exhaust scavenging and is tuned to provide a broad, usable powerband with an emphasis on mid-range horsepower and torque—making it an excellent choice for street-driven and naturally aspirated B-Series builds.
Constructed from T409 stainless-steel tubing, the header uses mandrel-bent runners, CNC-machined flanges, and TIG-welded joints for strength and consistent exhaust flow. A high-temperature ceramic coating helps reduce radiant heat in the engine compartment while protecting the header from harsh operating conditions.
