Improve airflow and give your performance intake a more aggressive induction sound with the DC Sports DC-RAF27501 2.75" Open-Top High-Flow Air Filter. Designed for compatible DC Sports intake systems and universal custom intake applications, this reusable performance filter combines excellent filtration with a free-flowing open-top design.
The DC-RAF27501 uses oiled cotton gauze filter media engineered to provide strong airflow while helping prevent dirt and contaminants from reaching the engine. The filter media is bonded to a durable, temperature-resistant urethane base that stands up to the heat and vibration found in performance engine bays.
Unlike the closed-top DC-RAF275, the DC-RAF27501 features an open filter top, allowing air to enter through both the sides and top of the filter. DC Sports notes that its open-top configuration can provide additional induction sound and airflow, making it an excellent option for performance street cars and custom intake systems.

DC Sports offers its 2.75-inch replacement filter in two configurations:
- DC-RAF275 – Closed Top: A more conventional configuration with slightly quieter intake characteristics
- DC-RAF27501 – Open Top: Allows additional airflow through the top of the filter while providing a more noticeable induction sound
The open-top configuration makes the DC-RAF27501 particularly appealing for enthusiasts who want to hear more of their engine's intake note, turbocharger, or other induction sounds.
Washable & Reusable
- The DC-RAF27501 uses oiled cotton gauze media that can be cleaned, re-oiled, and reused, eliminating the need to continually replace disposable paper filters. Proper periodic maintenance helps maintain both airflow and filtration performance over the life of the filter.
Universal Fitment
- The DC Sports DC-RAF27501 is a universal 2.75-inch air filter and is not limited to a specific vehicle. It can be used as a replacement filter on compatible DC Sports intake systems or as part of a custom intake setup.
- Before ordering, verify that your intake tubing has a compatible 2.75-inch outside diameter and that sufficient engine-bay clearance is available for the filter's 6.25-inch height and 6-inch base diameter.
The DC Sports DC-RAF27501 2.75" Open-Top High-Flow Air Filter is an excellent choice for enthusiasts looking for a compact, reusable performance filter that combines high-flow cotton gauze media, an open-top design, durable urethane construction, and increased induction sound for street, track, or custom intake applications.
