Improve airflow or replace a worn intake filter with the DC Sports RAF25001 2.5" Open-Top High-Flow Air Filter. Designed for compatible DC Sports intake systems and universal custom intake applications, the RAF25001 combines a reusable oiled cotton gauze filter element with an open-top design for increased airflow and a more aggressive induction sound.
Unlike the closed-top RAF250, the RAF25001 features an open filter top, allowing air to enter through both the sides and top of the filter. DC Sports notes that the open-top configuration breathes more freely and can increase induction sound, making it an excellent choice for performance intake systems, turbo applications, ITB setups, and engine swaps.
The filter uses a 2.5-inch inlet flange and measures 6.25 inches tall, providing a compact package suitable for crowded engine bays. Its oiled cotton gauze media is bonded to a temperature-resistant urethane base for durability under typical engine-bay heat and vibration.
