Designed as a direct-fit replacement for compatible applications using an M14 x 1.5 thread, the CH-DP-S features a short magnetic stem specifically intended for transmission use.
During normal operation, transmission gears, bearings, synchros, and other internal components can generate small ferrous metal particles. The powerful magnet in the CH-DP-S attracts and holds these particles at the drain plug, helping prevent them from continuing to circulate through the transmission fluid. It also provides a convenient way to inspect for metallic debris whenever the transmission fluid is serviced.

Important Type R / Integra Type S Fitment Note
- The CH-DP-S does not fit the transmission on the 2017+ Honda Civic Type R or 2024+ Acura Integra Type S. Circuit Hero specifically excludes these transmissions from compatibility.
